Believe it or not, people used to gather around their radios and listen to programs that included comedy, drama, mystery and suspense. After television became popular the old radio shows moved tot he fancy new format or died off completely. On our new series of shows we will head back to the early 20th century and listen to some of these shows just like are grandparents might have 70 years earlier. This time we listen to a clip from the Alan Young Show. A comedy that starred the guy who played Wilbur on Mr. Ed and later provided the voice for Scrooge McDuck in the late 80s and early 90s. We also give a listen to the mystery show Yours Truly Johnny Dollar, where Johnny Dollar, a detective solved a new mystery each episode.
